Bring on the vegetable avalanche

Very psyched to see that the CSA applications for the Killam and Bassette farm in South Glastonbury are open now for 2014. They have 120 weekly shares open. $600 for a full share, $350 for a half-share. June 15th through October 30th. Half is due with the submission of the application; the other half is due by June 1st.
I'm tempted to go with the full share, but it's a freakin' lotta vegetables and fruit for one person, especially when summer gets going. But that's why I bought the freezer last spring. If I'm organized about it, I can blanch and freeze quite a bit and the supply will probably last me until the 2015 CSA begins. Plus, I'd have a selection of vegetables from which to choose when I cook the folks dinner.
I have longed to do a CSA for years, ever since I got up here. I can't wait!!!
