6. Dead White Guys
Welcome to my humble abode. What is this "Dead White Guys, Etc." business all about, I hear you wondering. Basicalmente (<---not Spanish) it means that we read/discuss/build up piles of both classics of the literary canon (most of which were written by "dead white guys") AND all the other books we find interesting (..."etc."). See what I did there?
And two quotes from their site:

1. And this is not a link, but you can find it on your own if you really want to read about it. The city of Sochi has hundreds, possibly over a thousand stray dogs that are hanging about the construction sites. They've been fed and sheltered by construction workers. Guess what Sochi City Hall (or their equivalent name) has hired a company to do with these dogs before the Olympics begin? That's it. That's the last straw. #boycott (See the Washington Post for the horrible details.) A friend sez: "It's really just a precursor to what they're going to do with the gays." Indeed.
