I don't have an icon for kick ass or batshit brilliant. This is a local-to-Savannah, GA Superbowl ad. It's drop-dead fantastic.

CocaCola - The commercial and the background video

There were only two commercials that brought me to tears this year - Budweiser's "Hero's Welcome" ad and Coca Cola's "America the Beautiful" ad.

Coca Cola has released a five minute video showcasing some of the folks in the commercial, talking openly about their stories.

Coucous, quinoa, beans, broccoli, kale...

Trader Joe's Harvest Grains blend (Israeli couscous, spinach orzo, baby garbanzo beans, red quinoa.)



I added to it: vegetable broth, sweet onion, broccoli, sweet peppers, kale, cannellini beans. Cooked in the crockpot for a few hours.

I topped it with sunflower seeds for texture and flavor.
