Yikes! That's all I can say... Large tree part on roof ... scary. Irene was scary with long power outages - but sometimes I think nor'easters -- especially cold wintry ones -- are worse.
Right now we're in Hilton Head - returning back to our home on eastern Long Island tomorrow - arriving on Monday. I'm sure they are having the same kind of windy nor'easter there, too - and just heard on Facebook that it's snowing. Didn't think it would, as it doesn't usually snow so close to the coast. Hope we have power. At least we don't have trees around our house... Our kitties are in the house ... alone ... although they were seen by the pet sitter earlier this evening, and will be seen tomorrow morning.
