Amy's Organic French Country Vegetable

I generally do not like soup. Clam chowder is my favorite and I'll eat beef stew if it's thick enough to eat with a fork. Well, there are two other soups that I like: potato with smoked sausage and Italian meatball. Today I resolved to go 100% vegetarian so that kinda cuts out my favorite soups.

But still.

Today I made myself open the can of Amy's Organic French Country Vegetable that I've had on the shelf for a few weeks now. It was on sale so I picked up this and a can of the Lentil Soup. (I have to admit I'm a sucker for anything with "French" on the label.)

Oh my GOSH that's good. Wow. There's red rice that seems more like walnuts. Mushrooms. White beans. Tomatoes. Zucchini. I think I'm seeing pepper and onions. And I'm sure there's garlic and a few other spices. There's not so much rice that I can't eat it, but it's cooked perfectly so that the grains had burst open but still offered a slight bite texture.

Outstanding. Really surprised. This is how I'd expect something to taste at a restaurant.
